Proverbs 6:6-11

Taken from NIV or New International Version, Proverbs chapter 6 verses 6 through 11 states below:

6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!

7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,

8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?

10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest-

11 and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man. [a]

We are reminded to be diligent in anything that we do and put our hearts and minds to it. Even in work, we ought to work hard and not be slothful and lazy. I have seen some blogger stated that they are lazy to do certain things and this should not be their mindsets. From my observation, certain race here seems to take life very easy and lazyness seems to become of them and they bemoan their poverty and underpriviledged status. It is obvious that if you refuse to work, then don't expect the government to give free handouts every time and to salvage your poverty state of mind and body. IF someone is handicapped and you keep feeding him without him trying to better himself in society, then you have to keep feeding him for the rest of his life. If only they can see what is the root cause of their poverty, then they should not blame other races like the Chinese for their wealth. The Chinese, by nature, are diligent, hard working and tend to be wealthier naturally. So buck up and stop complaining.
