Back from Christmas Holidays

My youngest sister is still in South Hampton enjoying herself and will be back on 2 January 2013. Meanwhile, I had a short holiday over Christmas and it is now over. Time flies so fast and before you know it, it is time for New Year celebration. I got myself an iPhone 5 with IOS 6 last night. I traded in my old iPhone 4 for $700 and bought the new iPhone 5 for $2,012. This month, I am in a spending moon and also contributed $400 to charity. I also got a Prada handbag from KLCC, the most expensive gift I got myself. These are my own hard earned money and it pays to spend a little so that there is the motivation to keep working diligently.

New Mercedes S280

My colleague is doing very well. She just bought a Mercedes S280, silver in colour after getting a promotion and bonus this year. It is more of a family car and I guess her kids will fit in nicely. The car looks good but very expensive. Since she is in the sales line, it will suit her job functions well and impress potential clients. She earns a basic plus commissions that bring in the dough. Well, I just wish her well with her new car. It is an apt Christmas present to herself with this sleek marque, fully automated with many functions - according to her.

I Love VistaPrint

I love VistaPrint! They have awesome ready made templates of various themes for you to choose for the cards design. All you need to do is just type in your name, address, company name, contact numbers, fax number, email, etc. The designs are so intricately done and I simply love them! This Christmas, you can get your business or personal cards printed out for free for 250 copies and get a free stamp!

Just last month, I had my boss’ name cards printed out for 5 boxes or 500 pieces for $120.00 or 24 cents a card. This is more expensive than our regular printer who charges us 18 cents a card, or $54.00 for 300 pieces. I forgot the previous price and did not keep track but realized our regular printer was much cheaper with better quality print compared to the new card printer.

Well, to get started, you can click on the banner above that will direct you to have your VistaPrint cards designed in a jiffy – all done online at your fingertips. This is an ingenious way to leverage on the internet and get global clients! The internet has certainly made the world connected and smaller. It is now borderless business transaction with instant payment via your credit card through their safe and secure payment gateway.

Some are so Destitute

I was looking for work via a web site where there are several postings of single mum with a baby to feed with no money to buy food. I am not sure if this is the state of affairs in the US but apparently the economic situation is not very good there. Looks like many are jobless and will go hungry without the financial means to purchase basic necessities like food to live. I guess, I am bless as a child of God. The bible says, God's children will never have to beg in the streets or go hungry. And I certainly believe this phrase as I am living proof that there is plenty of food in the fridge and supplements with vitamins to better health.

Time for An Update

I have been some days since I last update this blog. I was in KL for business for about 1 week. Now I am back in Penang to do some online work for a client from Australia. Unlike most people who would rather sleep than work, I am a workaholic and will always find something meaningful to do. As they say, "Make Hay while the Sun Shines!" So, while I am still healthy and able, I will work for as long as possible for a secure golden retirement. What about you? Don't get jealous of my success, as I certainly work hard for it. While most of other people prefer to just nap at home or watch telly.

Priority Banking

Today I went to Public bank again to take out my Fixed Deposit that matured last month and put into Standard Chartered Bank to take advantage of the 4.01% interests rate per annum. In the meantime, I also applied for priority banking and received a notepad that looks like a diary. I also hope to get my Infinity Credit Card. Well, I am not too happy with the service of the relationship manager who tells me that there is no gift at all and all given out. After much talking, then only she relented. My God! This was my entitlement that should be given out automatically and not with much persuasion or arm-tactic. I feel like lodging a complaint but then that will be another day.

Peace working from my Condo

I now enjoy more peace of mind working from my new apartment where there is complete privacy and silence from the neighborhood. In fact, my opposite neighbor does not even stay at her condo and only comes once in a while for holidays. It is like a holiday home for her. So, in the meantime, I am enjoying myself working all alone with all the facilities put in place like a fax machine, multi-functional printer with scanner and copier and of course, my new laptop installed with Windows 7. My boss has gone out for site visit and to run errands while I handle all the computer work and administrative job. It is a win-win partnership for us where we do everything ourselves without the additional overheads of extra staffs. This company is blessed!

Pay Day Today

Today is pay day for me, which is every 1st and 15th of the month. More moolah in my bank account! As long as the present status quo is maintained, I can be gainfully employed for as long as time permits. Well, I have been in the same company for 8 years already, all working from a home office. It is quite easy for me as I don't have to commute to work or get dressed up and put on make up. No longer do I get stuck in snarling traffic jams every morning or when work finishes in the evening. No longer do I suffer the disease of Egypt, which is stress! Working all alone at home is easy peasy and I get to nap in between work! What more can you ask for?

Not easy being in a relationship.

It is not easy being in a relationship. Why do I say that? Because you don't have total freedom to do the things and relate to others in a free manner. When you are single, there is no such restriction. Beware if your partner is a control freak! Sometimes I have to use my thinking cap instead of following blindly to my predicament! The quality of life is reduced and bad elements creep in. Your partner has to respect you as a person and give you some room for breathing space.

Verified My Payza Account

Today I managed to successfully verify my Payza account. It was formerly known as Alert Pay. However, the debit card that I bought online is still Alert Pay and I am not sure if I can still use it with Payza. There is USD 32 loaded to the card of which I have been trying to withdraw using the Visa ATM machines. I am still clueless as to how to withdraw into Malaysian Ringgit of RM 90.00 after a deduction of USD 3 for the transaction. Otherwise, I will just use the debit card to purchase items from any of the supermarkets and free up the loaded cash. The money saved is my hard work completing micro jobs from a web site.

Skipped Church Today

Today, I skipped church as I woke up late and decided to spend the morning listening to music instead. I am a homely person, preferring to stay indoors. As I was browsing the internet today, I came across some interesting sites. This blog is a PR 1, so I need to be careful not to put too many paid posts but interspersed them with non paid posts. Okay, now time to take a break from here before resuming my day by day online internet marketing lesson by watching a video for the paid membership!

Giving Money

My dad was chatting and says that true church will not ask you to tithe or give 10% of your income. Well, if you have the revelation, then you can give according to your generosity. But you cannot keep talking about money and compel people to give till it hurts. I am not a miser, I give offerings and used to tithe, but not anymore. Now I just give offerings on Sunday services. Financial giving is a very personal matter and preachers should not keep harping about giving till it hurts.

Got an Offer Today

Today, I received an offer to blog and get paid. Working on the internet other than my main job is my part time income, where I will write articles for clients now and then. It is a win-win basis for both parties. I love my job and I work in my pajamas.

It is like a dream come true - my goal all this while is to be able to sustain myself while working from a home office with just a computer and internet connectivity. So, working at a home office suits me perfectly well. No more office politics and back stabbing.

No more 'disease of Egypt' or simply known as 'stress!' Do you know that stress can kill you slowly but surely? Now with an understanding boss, my life has turned around 180 degrees and I take it as God's provision and blessings upon my life.

More Offers to Write

I received a writing offer after submitting my resume for the job which I found online. Well, the young start up has paid me a few times already after I delivered the work promptly. It is about 5 sen per word which is about 1.67 cents USD per word, which is not too bad.

What I like about this gig is that I have the freedom to write as much as I like or as little as I wish. So, everything is up to me. The articles are for the web site and there are reference sites for me to browse through. It is so easy peasy but who says working hard for money is difficult?

If you are afraid of hard work, then I think it is not for you. Otherwise, it could be a profitable hobby working at home in your own pace.

Do Not Take the Counsel of the Ungodly

If only I knew about this scripture earlier, it would have saved me years of heartache. I should not have taken the counsel of the ungodly such as my money-worshiping aunt and classmate with bad intention. Nevertheless, I was still young and impressionable at that time when I needed the wrong and bad advice that cost me much headache and losing out on a potential scholarship. Also, be careful of what you read, because much of the contents could be mumbo jumbo and advise from a secular working businessman and not a god fearing Christian. When you see a doctor, approach one who is a Christian so that the Holy Spirit in him can lead him to prescribe the right medication.

God Grant Me Wisdom

I pray for God to grant me wisdom in my everyday affairs, especially when dealing with my parents. It is not easy being left out and the length of time spent at home can be uncomfortable. But I pray that God will give me favor to get along with people and the determination to work by the computer long hours, checking out pertinent information so that I can continue to earn money way into my golden years. I am neither young nor old and need to make as much as I can for my golden year during retirement ahead. But happiness with contentment is great gain and I should strive to be happy inside my soul. When worry and anxiety are gone, then can I rest and relax in His shalom peace. Now I have quite a substantial savings with some leftover for investment into the share market. Today, I bought Nestle at RM 55 per share for 100 shares through my Public Bank online trading account. I plan to keep the money there untouched for at least 10 years before realizing profits.

God Never Planned for Divorce

God never planned for married couples to divorce as marriage is sanctioned in the first place. Separation is more confidential, less expensive, and less formal than divorce. Just check out Parenting Time Attorney Farmington Hills for more info.

There is an increasing rate of divorce all around the world. Jennifer Lopez is one of the cases, having been divorced recently from her hubby of several years, Marc Anthony. They have twins and seek to have joint custody. Well, Jennifer is famous for being one of the 3 judges in the American Idol, if not the only female judge together with Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

My Grandma

Guest post from: Joe Castro

My grandma loves watching any tv shows about cooking or gardening. She was at my house one day and wanted to turn on HGTV. I turned it on and there was a show on about landscaping your own yard. My grandma went on and on about how pretty the flowers were and how vibrant the colors were. She told me that tv shows look better on my tv than they do on here. I told her it was probably because we were watching the show in HD. She said that she thinks her tv has HD, but she does not know which channels come in HD. I googled “ HD Direct TV ” and found out exactly which channels she has that come in HD. I printed the list of channels for her and she was so excited. Later that night she called me and was so happy about watching tv in HD. She said that she feels like she does not even have to wear her glasses any more when watching tv. I love my grandma and how the smallest things can make her so happy.

It is More Blessed to Give

It is more blessed to give than to receive, despite many people thinking otherwise. Most are parasites who take advantage of the kindness of others for their own selfish needs and wants. A case in point, is our former workers who have been with us for almost 10 years now become our competitors, doing exactly what we do and offering cheaper prices while stealing our customers directly. They contact all our former clients directly for jobs, competing with us for similar projects. When it comes to money, people can never be trusted, regardless of how long they have worked for you.

Happy Easter Sunday

It started with Maundy Thursday and yesterday was Good Friday where Jesus suffered the agony at the Garden of Gethsemene before he was crucified for our salvation in exchange for our sins. 3 days later, he rose from the dead to Heaven on an Easter Sunday – marking the new birth for all Christians. We are finally redeemed from our sins and have eternal life in heaven. Today is Holy Saturday.

Now is the season where fellow Christians reflect on this holy week to mark Easter Sunday, the very purpose where Jesus came down to earth as a sacrificial lamb and atonement for our sins. He left the comfort of heaven to be born in a lowly manger of Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem, Jerusalem. This is the love story of our saviour Jesus Christ who loved us so much to come down to earth to die for our sins. Now, as Christians, we have hope in Jesus on His finished work at the cross. Instead of perpetual condemnation, we now have grace with our Heavenly Father.

Mom and Me

Guest written by our friend Katie Callahan

Mom has given me the hardest time ever since I opened my own company. She seems to think I don't know what I'm doing or at least that I can't figure it out as I go along and is really driving me crazy. I mean, I am almost 40 years old and she seems to think that I never graduated from high school or something ridiculous like that! The other day she was lecturing me about how much I needed T1 new york and I just snapped. It's not like she's ever been this kind of business on her own and has advice to give me that she knows anything more about than I do. I felt kind of bad because I was kind of rude to her in the moment but I later apologized and she promised to try and back off a little bit when it came to my work. I hope that she needs it because if she doesn't I'm going to have to stop letting her be privy to all of my work related things.

Blessed Life

I consider myself blessed to have a dream job to work at home, enough finances to last me a long time, and part time work to blog, write articles and complete micro jobs now and then. All these are done at a home office since February 2004. I have reasonably good health to work conscientiously and think on the spot when writing articles. Now and then I go for holidays overseas, around once a year with my sisters and they are both very blessed too - in their professional lives and personal family lives.

Take Action

You need to take action which will set in motion a series of events that will transform your lives. It is no point reading a book on how to earn money but you never took any concrete action to follow up what you have read. It is merely a dream of what others have achieved that you hope to gain for similarly. It will be a hopeless dream unless you take action. And this requires discipline and diligence and tenacity. Not everyone are brought up with such admirable attributes.

Blessings on Earth

I have a dream job to work from a home office and therefore, I work in my pajamas. It is a 180 degrees turn in my financial coffer. I have a good family, all my sisters hold high positions in their respective companies and are high income earners. They have been promoted a few times with salary increments and also get head hunted by other corporations. Give a man a fish; and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him a lifetime. We always apply this idiom and study hard to be where we are today.

My Boss

Guest post written by my buddy Bernardo Graham

It's only a matter of time before my boss kicks the bucket. Gosh, that sounds absolutely horrible to say that he is 91 years old and I don't know why in the world he is still at this office every day as if he's not too old to work. I love the man to death, and he's like a grandfather to me, but he is really holding up progress around here. For example, the other day I was trying to explain to him why we needed some of the services from t1internet.net/ and we got all caught up in a conversation about what the website actually does. He barely understands the functionality of the computer much less the Internet so it really is an uphill battle trying to get him to invest in any new technology for the business. He seems to think that marketing isn't something we need to spend money on and that our reputation around town will get us through this economy but I know better and I really wish he would listen to my suggestions.

Chinese New Year Blessings

I received some ang pows this year of the dragon. Got a 4-figure ang pow from my boss which is the biggest of them all. It is equivalent to 2 months bonus. Yeay, more moolah for me to save up into my bank account and for my retirement down the road. And today, I earned USD 10 from one of my blogs to do some sponsored post. All I need to do was just cut and paste as the post was a guest post written by the sponsor. Right now, I am financially secure as I save bit by bit each month - on my own and from my employment.

Wisconsin Badgers Tickets

Ticketamerica.com has so many seats for all home and away match ups including the wisconsin badgers tickets, wisconsin-milwaukee panthers tickets, wofford terriers tickets and cross town rival Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers or the Wofford Terriers.

You can check out the links above to find out more about them.

Music and I love the 80s

Thanks for the article from Robin Woodard

My mom landed just about the best direct tv deals ever the other day. She definitely hooked the family up and we all thanked her for it. Now we have just about every channel it seems. Finally, I get to watch my favorite channels like VH1 and MTV. I always watched them at my grand parents house, but we never had those channels at my house. I love to watch music videos. They do not show them as much anymore, but during certain times of day they will. I think MTV really only shows music videos early in the morning and in the afternoon. VH1 has become the same way where it shows more reality shows than music videos, but my favorite program on VH1 is the one they run about different time periods. Those are always funny when I know what they are talking about and interesting when I do not. I always think it is funny to see different trends and fads in music and in style. The episodes about the 80s make me feel like I lived then. The music and clothes were just so ridiculous and over the top. It seems like it would be fun to live through that.

God is Taking Care of Me

I know my Heavenly Father is taking care of me by blessing me with a dream job to work at home. I have a health condition that makes it difficult to hold a job outside, and hence I have been provided with a way out by working in the comfort of home all alone without any office politics. And it was also a blessing to find my current boss from the internet. He started out as my website client while I was in between jobs and then decided to employ me to work for him on a full time basis in a home office. On our Heavenly Father can take care of his children with His providence such as this.
