I have stopped tithing to my local church

I was once a faithful tither to my local church in Penang for 2-3 years, giving 10% of my income every month. But since November 2009, I have stopped tithing as I need the money for my retirement. My local church has more than 3 million in its coffers and is quite rich already. Recently, it has upgraded the pavement for parking in its compound just before Christmas. No matter what, no church that I have attended can be compared to New Creation Church in Singapore - it is so annointed and blessed. I still buy message CDs and songs from www.newcreation.org.sg, the web site of New Creation Church that sells message CDs and tapes online. New Creation is a healing centre and financial centre in Asia. The sermons are broadcasted live all over the world with satellite TV and it is reaching the masses worldwide.

Came Back from Hatyai Yesterday

I spent Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day with my family in Hatyai recently. We are now back in Penang. The trip was enjoyable and I have spent some cash on buying personal stuffs like underclothings, skin care serum, body wash, body scrub, cashew nuts and treated my family to a delicious Japanese buffet dinner near our hotel. Well I guess, God has blessed me with the ability to continue to work from a home office for a friend in his sports building business and I get to earn some commissions from the various projects around Malaysia. And I have been working from home in my pajamas for the last 6 years and it gets better each year with more projects to handle. That means I also am busier than ever compared to the time when we just started out from a small shoplot in Penang. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Prosperous Chinese New Year and Belated Valentine's Day!

John Lennon (Singer):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:'God, that's for you..' He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.

Campinas (IN 2005)

In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend.....The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: 'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.'

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be ecognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.

Lim Guan Eng Came to my Church

Penang's current chief minister, Lim Guan Eng, came to my church to reassure us of the safety of the churches in Penang following the attacks in 4 churches in KL over the "Allah" issue. He came for the 9:00 am service and read out the sermon on the Mount and 1 Corinthians 13 on Love. It was recorded on video and when I came for the 11:00 am service, it was shown to us. He also went to The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit to reassure the parishers there and then went off to another church in Prai, Butterworth. Today's message on Love and Forgiveness wasn't co-incidental. It was divinely planned and we all had a good time hearing Pastor Yeoh Guan Hock preach and sing. With such care and immediate response shown by the Penang Government, I hope Lim Guan Eng will continue to helm the Penang Government in the next general election.

Merry Christmas to All

Today is the jolly season and I would like to wish all my readers a Blessed and Merry Christmas! It is just like another day for me with the usual activities - eating, napping and logging to the computer to play around. I also added this blog to PPP and just claimed it for future sponsored posts. Later on, I need to submit and email 2 sports quotations which need some measure of calculations as the size is not standard. My youngest sister has gone to her church friend's house for a Christmas lunch and she sang in the choir this morning. She also went to church last night at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. I did not attend church as I just came back from KL yesterday.

God has been blessing me with more than enough

In the past, I have been struggling to keep my jobs but it was short lived. And I was staying alone in Singapore which add to the pressures of life. Now, I am happily settled at home staying with my parents and they are both healthy in their golden years. I am blessed to have such parents who took me back when I had to start all over again in Penang. In between I rested for 1-2 years doing nothing and later started my web design business from home. I did earn some cash from clients around the world and it was a steep learning experience. At that time I was very good with Macromedia Flash and earned US dollars creating Flash animations for a USA client. Now if you ask me to do Flash, I must say that I have forgotten how to do it and leave it as that. It was also the time, I was introduced to receiving money through Western Union - the fastest method of payment internationally.

Cute Animals Christmas Song

I found this Youtube video online and it is rather funny. Just watch how they animals mime the song with musical instruments this coming Christmas. I simply love watching this video and the creator is rather talented using computer graphics to make it all the more interesting.
